The Season Has Changed. Let’s Answer the Call.

Quiet Revivals. Campus Fire. Why Not Here, Why Not Now.

It’s Fall. It’s a new season. Across the globe, God is stirring—softly, powerfully, unassumingly:

  • In the UK and across Europe, a Quiet Revival is unfolding. The Bible Society’s 2025 report found that overall church attendance rose from 8 % to 12 % over six years—an astounding 50 % increase, led largely by Gen Z, especially young men whose attendance leapt from just 4 % to 21 %  . Churches—particularly Catholic and Pentecostal congregations—are growing, and many urban parishes report renewed life, vibrant youth attendance, and new converts.

  • On college campuses across America, revival is alive and bursting forth. The 2023 Asbury Outpouring in Kentucky drew 50,000–70,000 visitors, extended worship, spontaneous prayer nights, and spread across dozens of campuses—capturing Gen Z’s appetite for authentic spiritual encounter  . The UNITE US movement has mobilized thousands of students nationwide, resulting in 5,000 salvation decisions and 2,000 baptisms, as campuses from Auburn to Ohio State respond in spiritual hunger.

Why This Matters Now

There’s a cultural longing alive among the younger generation—a hunger not quenched by secular ideals. Instead, young people are yearning for meaning, community, purpose, and truth. It seems psychology and pop-culture may have failed to fill the void, but Christ and the Gospel are meeting real needs  .

And what’s happening globally matters for us too—because the Spirit is not confined by geography. If God is at work elsewhere, why not here? If hearts are turning in Europe and campuses are igniting with spiritual fire, why shouldn’t our community and our country be next?

This Fall—Let’s Respond with Purpose

1. Keep the Main Thing the Main Thing: Souls.

Let’s sharpen our vision: make salvation calls every week. Not as a task, but as a mission filled with compassion.

2. Build a Team for the Harvest.

Form prayer and outreach teams ready for real Gospel conversations—on calls, in coffees, across desks and dinner tables.

3. Pour Into Students and Young Adults.

Look around—or upstream—and identify where the younger generation gathers. Be intentional about pouring your energy into the next generation. You don’t need to put anything on, be who you are, show real interest, and pour into a student.

4. Pray. And Pray Some More.

Quiet revivals often begin in small, faithful gatherings. Let’s pray weekly—for boldness, for compassion, for eyes to see circles of influence open to Jesus.

Harvest Is Here—Let’s Get to Work

This season isn’t about busyness—it’s about intentional, Spirit-led action. Revival may be “quiet,” but it’s happening. We’re seeing movement—from Europe’s pews to America’s campuses. If God can do this there, He can do it here.

Why not here? Why not now? Let’s step into the harvest. Let’s labour for souls, starting this fall.

Blessings and courage,
