You don’t need to know them to learn from them.
Mentors from afar can shape your leadership more than you think.
Hey leader,
Not every mentor needs to sit across from you.
Some of the greatest influences in your life will never know your name.
But if you watch closely—you’ll still be shaped by them.
Call them mentors from a distance.
They preach. They write. They lead.
You don’t just consume their content—you study their calling.
📖 Philippians 3:17 (NLT)
“Dear brothers and sisters, pattern your lives after mine, and learn from those who follow our example.”
Paul is saying: You don’t have to be in the room to learn.
You just have to pay attention.
🔍 How to Learn From Mentors You’ve Never Met:
✅ Watch how they lead—on stage and off
✅ Listen to podcasts, interviews, and long-form content
✅ Study the why behind their decisions—not just the what
✅ Go to the conferences where they’re teaching
✅ Read their books and underline their thought patterns
You can learn a lot up close.
But don’t underestimate the power of learning from afar.
The best leaders are always observing, always extracting.
