I just spent the last two days in Ottawa.

I was at the National Leadership Dinner. The National Prayer Breakfast. And in multiple high-level meetings discussing what comes next with Bill C-9.

And you need to hear this clearly: We are not done yet.

A lot of people are asking, “What happens now?”

Here’s the honest answer—nothing immediately. If Bill C-9 passes in the House of Commons, it moves to the Senate. That means the playing field shifts. New conversations. New opportunities. New pressure points.

This is not the end of the road. It’s the next phase. And how we respond right now matters.

This is not a time for discouragement.

This is a time for courage.

We don’t retreat. We don’t go silent. We stand our ground—with clarity, conviction, and truth.

Not with fear. Not with anger.

But with boldness anchored in who we are and what we believe. And don’t forget this—you’re on the winning team.

Jesus is still building His Church. Truth still stands. Light still overcomes darkness.

Nothing about that has changed.

On the flight home, I was thinking about my son Kingston. He’s deep into the Narnia series right now—completely immersed. Every page. Every story.

And as we’ve talked about it, I couldn’t shake the parallel.

There are moments in Narnia where everything feels uncertain. Tension is high. It looks like darkness is winning.

But then comes the reminder: “Aslan is on the move.” That’s where we are right now.

Don’t be afraid.

The Church in Canada is not asleep—it’s waking up.

And when the Church wakes up, everything changes.
