Want to grow this summer? Start here.

Every leader needs someone who sees more in them than they see in themselves.

Hey leader,

If you want to grow this summer—start by refusing to grow alone.

No one rises in isolation. Not in life. Not in ministry. Not in leadership.

Even Jesus had close friends, spiritual alignment with the Father, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Paul had Barnabas. Timothy had Paul. Moses had Jethro.

You? You need someone too.

Here’s the truth:

If there’s no one speaking into your life—you’re leading on fumes.

Find someone who can speak to you, not just about you.

A mentor. A coach. A trusted leader.

Not someone who flatters you, but someone who sharpens you.

“As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another.”

— Proverbs 27:17 (NIV)

3 Questions to Ask When Looking for the Right Voice:

  1. Do they love Jesus and walk in integrity?

    (If not, move on.)

  2. Do they bear the fruit I want to see in my life and leadership?

You can’t reproduce what you haven’t observed.

  3. Are they willing to challenge me, not just cheer me on?

Encouragement is great—but transformation comes through truth.

You might be one trusted voice away from your next level.
