Leading Revival: No Plan B

A Conversation with Russell Johnson

In partnership with

Hey Leaders,

Let’s cut to the chase—revival isn’t a trend, a conference, or a brand. It’s the tangible move of God in a desperate people. And if we want to lead in revival, we need to stop waiting for the perfect conditions and start stewarding what God is already doing.

I had a conversation with Russell Johnson recently about Leading Revival, and one thing was clear—this is a defining moment. The hunger is real. The fire is spreading. The time is now.

But are we willing to pay the cost?

I hopped on a plane last week to join Pastor Russell and Evangelist Jonathan Shuttlesworth in Seattle at Pursuit for their Week of Revival. I was able to be there for one night and I can tell you… I feel like I walked away with a year full of spiritual growth.

A multi-generational room filled with people from all backgrounds and ways of life passionately pursuing the presence of Jesus. The faith level in a room was high and even shocked Jonathan Shuttlesworth, he said after the service, “that wasn’t faith like an American Church… that was desperate faith like a crusade in Africa.”

We left the church just after midnight, after things kicked off at 7pm… and it was a Monday Night. GOD IS MOVING… and I want to be part of whatever He is doing right now!

LET’S DIVE IN….
